Anand remains champ – Rybka on Game 12

Viswanathan Anand fought off challenger Veselin Topalov in Game 12 to remain World Chess Champion. The competitors were tied at 5.5 coming in to the final game, but a middlegame slipup by the challenger provided Anand with an opportunity (as well see in the following game).
